HEAD COACH -Brandon Mazepa
Brandon graduated from Cabrini college in May 2015 with BA in History. He plans on continuing his education to obtain a Master’s Degree in Sports Coaching. He aspires to become a collegiate swim coach for a Division 1 school.
At 5 years old, Brandon joined the Palmerton Swim Team and was a member of the team until he was 18 years old. His year-round swimming career started at 15 years old when he joined the Bethlehem YMCA. While representing Palmerton Area High School in the pool, he trained at Liberty High School in Bethlehem. After high school, he jumped right into the water at Cabrini College. During his three years with the Cabrini Cavaliers he was able to break the 200 yard backstroke record in 2012.
Brandon is starting his 5th year as Head Coach for the Macungie Bears. He helped the team move in impeccable ways and lead the Macungie Bears in an amazing season. Prior to coaching at Macungie Bears, he coach for 3 seasons for Palmerton Summer Swim Team. Brandon is very organized and enthusiastic. He finds his coaching style unique and incomparable. He also worked for the EMAC (fall , winter, and Spring program 2015-2016). He has high goals for the upcoming season; Brandon is nothing but excited to be with the Macungie Bears Family.
