The Macungie Bears Swim Team’s home is at the Macungie Memorial Park Pool, ‘The Fun Pool’, located in Macungie, PA, within Macungie Memorial Park. In the summer months, our team competes with seven other teams in the Suburban Swim League of the Greater Lehigh Valley.
We welcome swimmers ages 5-18 to join our swim team. Children must be able to swim one length of the pool freestyle. Learn teamwork, meet new friends, and enjoy the thrill of competition. The benefits of joining a swim team as a child are numerous. It’s about being part of something greater than oneself, being part of a team, and continuously challenging yourself to get better, stronger, and celebrate your achievements. Our team is encouraging and friendly, and your child will find it a joy to attend each day. After school practices begin in late May/early June and morning practices begin after the end of the school year. Swim meets take place twice a week from mid-June through July. |
